Graduated from Law Faculty in Ljubljana, chair of international sciences. Her thesis-International viewpoints of the American-Iranian relationship crisis with special emphasis on the decisions of the international court for which she received the prize of dr.Slavko Zore which is awarded by the Society for the united nations of the Republic of Slovenia.
She did the court articling at the Basic court in Novo mesto, where she got employed as law clerk after taking the state bar exam.
She continued her career first as a law clerk to the local public prosecutor in Novo mesto and then as a deputy of the local public prosecutor in Novo mesto.
In October 1989 she founded her own Law Firm Ahlin.
